Can you repair runflat tyres?
In most cases, run-flat tyres can be safely repaired. We'll inspect them and advise the safest option.
Can i drive on a standard tyre flat?
No - driving on a flat tyre causes internal structural damage, making it unsafe to repair or use.
Why does a tyre need replacing after driving flat?
Driving flat damages the tyre’s internal structure, even if it looks fine outside. This makes it unsafe to repair or reuse.
Are part-worn tyres safe?
Yes — when properly inspected and tested. All our part-worn tyres are pressure tested and checked to meet safety standards.
Do I need wheel alignment?
If your car pulls to one side or your tyres wear unevenly, you likely need wheel alignment. We reccomend checking your alignemnt every 3 months due to Uk's current road conditions.
Can a puncture be repaired?
Yes — if the damage is within the repairable area and hasn’t caused internal damage.
What is the legal tyre tread depth in the UK?
The legal limit is 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre, but we recommend replacing before reaching this.
Why is my steering wheel shaking?
This is usually caused by wheel imbalance, alignment issues, or damaged wheels/tyres. This should be checked as soon as possible to avoid possible further complications.
What is wheel balancing?
Wheel balancing ensures even weight distribution around the wheel to prevent vibration and uneven tyre wear.
What causes uneven tyre wear?
